THE STUDIO

My studio is located in Toowoomba, QLD. All shoots are by appointment only. You will have access to all of my props, blankets, baskets and photographic equipment in the studio. You are invited to sit back and relax in my parents lounge and watch while I photograph your precious new baby.

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

Newborn sessions are held in the first few weeks of life, preferably between 1-3 weeks of age, however, newborns can be photographed up to 6 weeks old. Upon booking, I pencil in your estimated due date. Then once your baby is born we schedule a date for your shoot within those first few weeks. I welcome parents and siblings to the session also. Due to high demand and the amount of time invested in providing clients with high quality images, bookings are limited, so I recommend booking your session early, preferably whilst still pregnant.

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

Maternity shoots are best held between 32-36 weeks gestation. My maternity sessions are studio based and very simple. I prefer the classic, timeless look, images that are all about the connection between you and your baby. I love to use light and shadow to showcase your natural beauty and changing body. I also have a large selection of gowns and wraps that can be worn at your shoot.

OLDER BABIES

Beautiful images can be captured of your baby at any age. If you have missed out on newborn photos, I offer mini shoots for older newborns and also milestone shoots for babies from 6 months-12 months.

BABY SAFETY

As a certified member of the Academy of Newborn Photography, combined with my many years of experience handling newborns, you can be assured that your baby is in safe hands. All of my sessions are baby led, preferring a simple, safe style of newborn photography. I am fully vaccinated, registered, insured and trained in first aid. All items used during shoots are washed and sanitised after each session. These are very important things to consider when choosing your photographer, as the health and safety of your baby is most important.

HYGIENE & COVID SAFETY

The health and wellbeing of my clients is my absolute priority. At the studio we wash hands before and after each session. Studio props are cleaned and sanitised. No shoes are permitted in the studio. Hand sanitiser is used during your session and we can wear a mask upon request. Immediate family only are permitted at the session and we have a no sickness policy so please let us know if you are unwell so we can reschedule. Given the ever changing nature of COVID19, some requirements may alter as advised by QLD Health. Social distancing by all parties is expected to the extent possible during the session.
